Description

A Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) that provides public sector organisations with access to a wide range of Artificial Intelligence (AI) services.

What you can buy

RM6200 Artificial Intelligence (AI) supports organisations at every stage of their AI journey.

It supports:

  1. Users new to AI: you can purchase discovery services to help understand AI and its benefits.
  2. Established AI users: obtain licensing, customization, and support from suppliers.
  3. End-to-end support: choose comprehensive partnerships if you need both discovery and ongoing support.

Available AI product types

  1. General AI applications, augmented decision making, data and analytics, and virtual assistants or chatbots.
  2. Medical AI Technology

Health and social care bodies can specifically access applications such as:

  •  medical imaging software 
  • non-imaging diagnostic software 
  • symptom-based software.

These applications support functions like screening, diagnosis, and improving system efficiency, in line with the AI in Health and Care Award.

Contracts awarded under this agreement can last up to 4 years, based on how complex  your project is.

The DPS allows you to shortlist suppliers based on your needs using a range of filters. Once you have established your shortlist you can use this to run a further competition.

How to buy

  1. Register as a buyer. Note: although pages are headed ‘Supplier registration’ this is also where you can register as a buyer
  2. Go to the Artificial Intelligence DPS and log in with your username and password.
  3.  Click on ‘confirm’ at the bottom of the text, and agree to the terms of use.
  4. On your ‘Manage your DPS Category Exports’ page you now have 2 options (in the bottom right-hand corner of the page):
  • view appointed suppliers Buyers are encouraged to conduct pre-market engagement before using the filters 
  •  click on the link to create a new category export, this is how you filter the suppliers that can meet your needs
  1. Use the filtering tool to specify your needs, this will create a list of capable suppliers. Attach filters descriptions document in this section.
  • save your filtered list of capable suppliers by clicking the   ‘Save Category’ option 
  • shortlisted suppliers are a 100% match to the buyers selected filters
  • from your ‘Manage your Category Exports’ page you can then export the list of suppliers and contact details (export is to an Excel spreadsheet)
  1. Log out of the DPS.
  2. Use the list to run a further competition. Invite the suppliers identified by the DPS to bid against your detailed specification and evaluation criteria. 
  3. The list is valid for 2 working days only, from the date of its creation, because new suppliers may be applying to join at any point.
  • if your further competition excludes eligible suppliers it could breach procurement regulations 
  • get a fresh supplier list (steps 3.2 to 5) if you do not use your list within 2 working days by clicking the ‘Search Again’ option for your export
  • you can use your own eSourcing tool or the our eSourcing tool to run a further competition. Our eSourcing tool is free to use for public sector 
  1. Evaluate responses and award the contract.
